Sunday School (CCD or Religious Ed)

Sunday School will begin on September 23^th from 3:30pm-4:30pm.  Sunday School is open to Preschool through 5^thGrade Students. Students are divided in groups of 8-12 children, by grade.  The cost for Sunday School is $30/Child.  This fee goes to help off-set the cost for curriculum and other instructional and craft supplies.  Handouts will be sent home, but books will not be provided. 

 

First Communion Preparation

Children are eligible to make their First Communion when they are 2^nd Graders or above.  Families who wish to have their children receive First Communion must be registered in the Parish and actively tithing.  The Archdiocese of Seattle encourages that children have had two years of preparation in addition to Sacramental Preparation.  This can be St. Michael Sunday School or a different preparation.  Specific Sacramental Preparation will take place four times during the year; twice in the fall and twice in the spring. The cost for First Communion prep is: $30/Child.  This fee goes to cover books, instructional supplies, and workshops.

 

Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC)

Children or youth who are seeking to be baptized, and who are older than age SEVEN will attend 1^st Communion Workshops (see above) and an additional RCIC workshop.  Families who wish to have their children receive First Communion must be registered in the Parish and actively tithing.  They should also be attending some Religious Education, which can be St. Michael Programs.  RCIC prep is: $30/Child.  This fee goes to cover books, instructional supplies, and workshops.
